| Data literacies in displacement (DLiD) | The University of Warwick |
University of Ibadan International Organization for Migration |
Sep 2025 – Mar 2027 | Global – Humanitarian contexts | This programme of activities draws on the findings of the Data and Displacement project and adds to work already undertaken to create a training tool for humanitarians. The project team will enhance the impact of the training tool through developing it for use by affected community members and donors; tracing its impact based on indicators developed with key informants from the humanitarian sector; creating a best practices concordat and framework of action; and launching the concordat and tool at events for multiple users in Nairobi, London and Geneva. The activities are designed to incrementally build a sustainable best practices community, which will enhance accountability and improve the quality of data upon which decisions about humanitarian programming are made. |

| Extending grid interconnection of the South Asian grid to Sri Lanka and the Maldives | Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe) | None | Sep 2025 – Mar 2026 | Sri Lanka, Maldives | This project extends the geographical area of regional energy cooperation from BBIN Region (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal) to two other countries of South Asia, i.e. Sri Lanka and Maldives, through interconnection of grids of Sri Lanka and Maldives to the Indian grid and through the Indian grid to the South Asian grid. There are even greater chances of optimal utilization of resources, if the demand diversities and supply diversities of two more nations in South Asia are added, by interconnecting of the grids of Sri Lanka and the Maldives, the grids of both of which are still not connected to the South Asia grid. |
