On behalf of the FCDO Research Commissioning Centre, 3ie invites expressions of interest from organisations or consortia to explore the role of research evidence in government economic policymaking in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. The programme is intended to enhance understanding of how policymaking processes work and shed light on the underlying factors, including evidence, that influence changes in the policy agenda, policy or spending decisions, or the implementation of programmes or policies.
The deadline for sending proposals for this call for expressions of interest is 17:00 GMT, 30 May 2025.

The programme aims to generate actionable learning on the conditions, levers and strategic entry points for enhancing evidence use for economic development.
